death

So, Donny died. Lung cancer &c. There’s been a lot of death lately… I wish I was in FL.

Sigh. Gotta get back to work. That’s what I do, right.

    Jen played flute at his memorial service at the Advent Episcopalian church. The service was conducted by Uncle Don’s son and your cousin, Father Eric Kahl.

    Eric also held a memorial service at the Elks. After the service, there was an open bar- at Uncle Don’s request. As we filed in to the lounge area, everyone was handed an ice cold bottle of Bud Light- Uncle Don’s favorite. It was his way of saying goodbye…

    About 200 friends and family attended both sevices. He was a popular guy in Tallahassee, and he will be deeply missed by both family and friends.
