Anybody think it’s a bad thing when the democratically elected leader of a major world power centers his re-election campaign around opposition to American foreign policy? Warning bells? Hint hint, Mr. President? Jesus. I can’t wait to vote him out of office.

And what the hell is this?
The move brings the total that Mr. Cheney is spending on travel this fiscal year to $536,000, or 38 percent higher than the amount originally allotted, a percentage increase that seems highly unusual. In 1994, the comparable year for President Bill Clinton, former Vice President Al Gore spent $42,000, or $51,000 in today’s dollars.

Lovely.

Physics physics physics. It’s all I ever do anymore. If I switched to 152 from 162, I might have a life. Is it worth it? I’m not sure anymore. It was OK last semester, but the work load this time is a joke.

Anyway, I’ve been very busy with school. EE probably takes up the least time, like last semester. Besides physics, there’s CS projects and music theory homework to keep me busy.

On the non-school front, I went to the Thornton Symphony’s debut last week. It was good, not to mention fascinating to me, because of my limited experience with the strings. I miss that stuff — maybe I’ll be able to do some ensembles next semester.

I think I’m going to go utilize my break time (i.e. Friday night before the work starts again Saturday morning) and read a little. Currently reading Neal Stephenson’s Cryptonomicon. It’s good so far. Which is good, because it’s over 900 pages long. That’s, like, a kilopage.
