I saw Jets to Brazil and Pilot to Gunner last night. It was wonderful.
Confession: this was my first
indie show. That is, one where the soundcheck happens with the crowd in the room, and all the kids wear old clothes that they found at consignment just to impress everyone else with how indie they are, and all the bands are nice to eachother, and nobody starts a stupid moshpit, and people just stand and enjoy the music, and you can feel the pulsating, silent chant of “fuck the
RIAA!”

My body hurts. A lot of times I wonder if this is how it’s supposed to feel. All sorts of things in my body don’t feel right. I keep switching my mouse hand every five minutes because my arm gets too tired to move back and forth. I keep shifting in my seat. I have just about the most ergonomic setup I’ve ever seen. I think a good setup keeps you from getting injured, but doesn’t matter too much once the damage is done.

Let’s see.
DCI was fun. It rained most of the time, but that’s OK. If those guys can march around a field with their expensive instruments in the rain, the least I can do is put on a poncho and watch.
The Blue Devils clinic was rained out. We ended up walking around the Citrus Bowl in the rain for a while before the show.

Ah, I have the worst headache. Full lowdown on events tomorrow. Radio cut: Cavaliers get funky and win DCI Orlando on phat grooves alone. It was awesome. Cadets were great too. Blue Devils were good technically, but not particularly exciting. Magic was better than I expected.
I’ve been feeling sick all day. More news tomorrow.
Definitely don’t like these icons. Back to Photoshop. #
What do you think of the changes? Are the icons dumb? #
I wrote a r?sum? today. Isn’t that exciting?
I also memorized the ASCII comibination for ?.
Anyway, I want to upload it, but it has lots of personal information all over it. Maybe I’ll make a different version to post.
Bored. Let’s try this one without a title. #
USA beats Mexico! America makes the quarter-finals for the first time in world cup history! This is unbelieveable! #
Jets to Brazil is coming to Orlando on June 28. I can’t wait! Want to come? IM me, and I’ll send you some wonderful music.
I’m going to apply for a job with a temp agency. That should solve two problems: I’ll be employed, and I’ll have a relatively flexible schedule.
Call me lefty. In an attempt to make my right arm happy (it never is), I’m trying to do a lot more things with my left hand. My mouse is on the left right now. It doesn’t feel too weird.
My sister’s graduation party was on Saturday. I didn’t have very much fun. It was nice to see a bunch of my old friends from high school, but I couldn’t handle Colleen being there.

I’ll make a long story short. Clear Channel is screwing me. Time to find a better job. You know, one where I get to work.
I’ll update tomorrow after I get up. I want to test out a new feature at the same time. #
Warning: this game will waste all your productivity. It’s worse than the helicopter game. #
That’s the sound of America backing into the world cup round of 16. Even though we took an unpredictable beating against Poland, South Korea came through against Portugal to ensure that we move on.
The best moment of the whole Polish match (besides the American goal) was when the South Korean goal was announced to the crowd — the games were being played simultaneously. The entire stadium erupted about the other game, and the Americans were thoroughly confused until they heard the chants of “Corea! Corea!”
We play Mexico, Monday morning at 2:30a. Anybody else want to watch the game with me? #
Looks like Joe isn’t coming to LA. His parents vetoed. Grrr.
Driving to LA with my Dad would be completely cool, but I was really looking forward to my original plans. Rarrrr!
Feeling frustrated. #
