Computer Science AB: 5 (that’s right, sucka)
Calculus BC: 5
Calculus AB Subscore: 5
Physics B: 4
English Lit.: 4
Macroeconomics: 3 (uh huh, respect it)
Microeconomics: 2 (not too bad for an exam that I took blindly)
That’s all for now. I have more things to say, but I’m really busy at the moment.
Wait, one more thing.
Where the hell is Elyse? Grrrrr. #
my sources have informed me that my clever title below was actually not so clever, since i posted approximately 21 minutes too late. oops.

I reiterate… It’s my birthday. Got a bunch of cool toys.
Got a Nokia 8260 phone — tiny little thing! I really like it. It’s charging up as we speak.
Also got an Aiwa mini-shelf system. Very nice. 3-disc changer (which reads CD-R/W!), among other nice amenities. Sounds good playing Weezer’s green album, which makes me happy. Oh!, and it matches my computer!
Colleen gave me a scrapbook with high-school memories. Very sweet! She also gave me a double picture frame with two beautiful pictures from Captiva. Word!
Oh, get this. Joe and I were both born on 11:47p on our respective birthdays! Cooool. #
I’m finally eighteen. It’s been, shall I say, eighteen long years. #
I just got a lot of design done on Nova Lingua. Block = gone! w00t! It looks pretty darn good, although I kind of feel like I’m ripping off Plastic…
Colleen’s here — she’s been [cutely] putting addresses into her new Handspring Visor Deluxe (Ice) for a few hours now. How’s that for Graffiti proficiency?
Tired. Back hurts. Going to bed to read. #
I feel like crap for some reason, I don’t know. I’m trying to put some design-fu on Nove Lingua, but it just isn’t flowing. I like the design of this site, and it came very easily to me. Now i’m having this major roadblock.
Saw Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. It was pretty good, although being the American that I am, I got a little mixed up with the names and such. At first, I tried to be hardcore and watch it in Mandarin with English subtitles, but that was just too much. Then I switched to English dub w/ subtitles. That was better, although it was pretty sad to see how either a) the subtitles were an inaccurate translation or b) the english dub was actually a re-write. Who knows. It was cool, though. I enjoyed sword-fu, kung-fu, tree-fu, stick-fu, roof-tile-fu, and needle-fu, as well as large-heavy-object-fu. Great action. Not quite sure about all those Academy Awards, though.
Blargh! Unblock, mind! (Audio: Jets to Brazil - I Typed for Miles… Thanks to Joe for that one.) #
OK, I really love Colleen right now. She’s so special, and all that other gooey stuff.
Time to get workin’ on Nova Lingua! #
colleen and I are happy again. happy!
i’m gonna start looking in to supplies to start doing my case mod. i know we have a dremel… bits? i dunno. #
and of course, she will be angry with me for posting that paragraph below. and angry with me for saying that she will be angry with me.
sigh
it would be cool if we could just always be happy.
#
that seems to be my favorite emotion lately. sigh
well, i’m live with the new site, yay. the domain names haven’t filtered down to me yet though, so i’m stuck with an IP address for now.
colleen can be so confusing sometimes. we had — well, in the danger of redundancy — we had a confusion. i thought i was being very clear about something, but it seemed like she wasn’t even reading my messages. i dunno. nobody’s fault. then i was writing a letter to joe, so i was waiting for about 20 sec before answering her IM’s. when i finally did, she called me ‘too busy to talk to her’ or something similarly goofy and wrong, and signed off.
ugh. sigh #
kampers.net is mine. so is kampers.org, and chriskampmeier.com. take that! i have a feeling that this is going to be cool. just about $100 for the year, which isn’t too bad. and they threw in registration and parking (of the latter two addresses) for free. cool. PHP, MySQL, and all the other amenities I know and love. 250MB, 10GB/month. Sounds good to me. #
Linux Netscape, that is. More on that later. I’ll take a quick break from playing with Red Hat Linux 7.1 (I am indeed posting this from linux) to say that Our Lady Peace never fails to rock hard and true. I’ve got the TV on MuchMusic, a Canadian-type MTV, and they just played OLP’s “Life.” Now, given, that song is far from the best on its album. The video is cool though — Raine (the mouthpiece) just has something honest about him, and it’s cool. The song’s lyrics back it up. I can’t wait to see them live again. #
Well, I’ve got it producing random little funny text at the top of the page now. Cool. Now I just need more funny little text. That could be the real problem.
I hope this still works, I had to re-tool it in the process. #
Just got back from Captiva. Wonderful vacation. I spent some time on the beach, some time in the pool, and some time chillin’ reading a book (two, actually). All in all, a total week of relaxation. Word!
Oh, before my slumber one night earlier in the week, I spent some time listening to Weezer’s blue album with a good seat of headphones. I never really listened to their lyrics in depth before, and may I say, I am very impressed with both “Say It Ain’t So” and “Only in Dreams.” Wow, the latter of those two would have been a cool song to have as our prom song. Oh well. So much for that high school thing, anyway.
Time to gear up on this Nova Lingua stuff. #
