suck suck suck.
well, in a literal sense. that’s how i’m “eating” my food nowadays. suck, suck, suck.
let’s see. today really hasn’t been that great. my little surgery has been pretty painful today. my chin feels like it’s been cut in half and put back together. (oh, wait! that is what happened!) i guess some of the nerves must be reconnecting, because my chin sure hurts. it’s a weird kind of pain, too — more of an instability. must be those nerves.
my LCD came today (w00t w00t!). it looks cool, but alas, i don’t have the stupid serial cord to connect it to my computer. i tried to go to radio shack, but they were closed at 8. oh well. tomorrow is another day. i’m not quite sure how i’m going to cut a hole in my case to mount it, either — dremel? hmm. that scares me. i’m too clumsy to not lose a finger in that operation, owen meany style.
rounding out today’s news… i have to send my uber-sleek keyboard back to buy.com… it has two defective arrow keys. too bad. i’ll just get another, though.
haven’t seen any of my friends in a while… perhaps i’ll be ready (read: not self-conscious) in a few more days of healing. i need to plan this party with mike, too, and work on TQ with joe, with an urgency. i’m sure FSU starts nice and early…
note to self: make sure to remind self of how cool slot-load DVD drive is. =p #
